For more than 125 years, the University of Texas Libraries have committed to building one of the greatest library collections in the world. Maintaining more than 10 million volumes and providing access to the latest digital journals, databases and web resources, UT Libraries collects and preserves the finest achievements of human knowledge in support of not only research and instruction needs, but also the exploration of ideas and intellectual innovation.
Some of the most popular libraries on campus include the Perry-Castañeda Library, the Life Sciences Library, the McKinney Engineering Library and the Architecture and Planning Library. UT Libraries host a multitude of events throughout the year and offer many resources for research, teaching and learning.

Texas Career Engagement offers students and scholars with interdisciplinary career development and employer connections. They facilitate interactive workshops, panel discussions, career preparation programs and more.

The Center for Teaching and Learning has supported the teaching and learning mission of UT Austin for over 50 years. They offer resources on instructional strategies, teaching with technology and a number of workshops throughout the year to support educators in developing their teaching skills.

The NPA is a national organization dedicated to improving the postdoctoral experience by supporting a culture of inclusivity and connection. At the individual, organizational, and national levels, they facilitate enhanced professional growth, raise awareness, and collaborate with stakeholders in the postdoctoral community. As a member of NPA, postdocs will have access to their workshops, national events and resources for career development and mentorship.

The NCFDD is a nationally-recognized independent organization dedicated to supporting faculty, postdocs and graduate students in making successful transitions throughout their careers. NCFDD provides online career development, training and mentoring resources. 

The University of Texas at Austin is an institutional member of the NCFDD, which gives all faculty and postdoctoral scholars free on-demand access to their resources.

The Postdoc Academy is a comprehensive online and in-person program built on the National Postdoctoral Association core competencies to support skill development throughout postdoc training, from orientation to next career step. They offer online courses and mentoring resources to help postdocs navigate their experience and transition successfully into a career path.

All UT Austin graduate students, faculty and staff are eligible to sign up for a free 30-minute appointment to speak with a faculty member in the Department of Statistics and Data Sciences (SDS) for a brief consultation. Their free consultants can help with interpreting statistical data, providing recommendations and reviewing study designs.

The Burroughs Wellcome Fund supports students, teachers, scientists and institutions. Their site has career tools, lab management guides, resources and more.
