Career Design Lab

Design a career and life that truly fits you. This interactive, afternoon workshop uses design thinking principles to help graduate students and postdocs explore possibilities, reframe challenges and develop practical next steps. 

Through hands-on activities and guided reflection, you will: 

• Identify beliefs or assumptions that may be shaping your career decisions and practice reframing them
• Reflect on how your time, energy and priorities are currently spent 
• Explore ‘what if’ versions of your future to expand how you think about what’s possible 
• Leave with practical takeaways and ideas for making small, meaningful changes based on what you learned 
• You will leave with tools, clarity and strategies to continue exploring career possibilities with curiosity and confidence. Lunch and snacks will be provided to attendees.
