Please join us for a virtual workshop with Dr. James Gould, Director of the HMS/HSDM Office for Postdoctoral Fellows at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and author of the book “Making the Most of the Postdoc: Strategically Advancing Your Early Career.”

In today's unpredictable funding landscape, it's crucial for early career researchers to develop strategies that ensure career resilience and growth, even during challenging times. This seminar will provide practical insights and actionable advice on developing processes, mastering details, fostering growth mindset, diversifying skills, networking, adapting to change, and communicating value to safeguard career success no matter the climate.

Dr. Gould has implemented research, career, and professional development programs and policies for HMS-affiliated trainees since 2011. Prior to HMS, Dr. Gould completed two postdoc fellowships at the National Cancer Institute of the NIH where he became involved in training affairs and studied cancer metabolism.
