The University of Texas at Austin Office of Postdoctoral Affairs is excited to welcome you to the UT Austin Postdoctoral Community! We host orientation for new Postdoctoral Fellows five times a year (twice in the Fall and Spring and once during the Summer semester). The goal of the orientation is to ensure that you receive the best training, feel engaged with campus community and receive opportunities to enhance your postdoctoral experience.
During orientation, you will learn about postdoc-specific policies, benefits, and resources available to enhance your UT Austin experience. Representatives from Human Resources, Payroll, International Student and Scholar Services, Ombudsman, Texas Research, Discovery to Impact, and the Office of Career and Life Design will introduce their offices, the services they provide, and answer questions. We will also discuss the mentoring experience and creating an individual development plan.
