Texas Global Offices
Come ride with ISSS! Review important notes below. A Texas Global/UT Austin staff member will lead a short ride (approximately 4 miles each way) from the Texas Global offices to the Mueller Farmer's Market. The ride will primarily be on low-traffic neighborhood roads using dedicated bike lanes. Your guide will answer any questions you may have about bike law and safely using bike lanes before the ride begins. Water bottles and bike locks are strongly recommended. Also note that Texas weather in March can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a backpack or bike bag/basket to add and remove layers of clothing as needed, and also to carry any goodies from the Farmer's Market! Important Notes: Helmets are required and all participants will be required to sign a liability waiver. Texas Global CANNOT provide bikes for student use, so you will need your own bike or a rental to participate. UT's own Orange Bike Project offers student rentals for single day, weekend, or the entire semester at very reasonable prices.
